Conn Construction: Building Relationships from the Ground Up
“Building Relationships from the Ground Up” is the motto for Conn Construction Co., Inc. Ted Conn, as President, has committed 50 plus years to these values. He is personally involved with every aspect of the building process and insists on quality standards. Conn Construction Co., Inc. has been engaged in both commercial and residential projects throughout the Golden Triangle area, and has learned the value of maintaining a reputation of honesty and integrity while producing a quality product in a timely manner.
Ted Conn started his career in construction at the age of 16, when he went to work for his brother James Conn as a laborer. He has literally been educated from the ground up. In 1976, James died unexpectedly and Ted decided to take over the business. In 1977, Conn Construction Co., Inc. was incorporated and has maintained a growing business since that day. It is a family owned and operated business. Ted Conn is assisted by his sons, Billy as Vice President and Supervisor and Lance as Secretary-Treasurer and Project Manager. In addition, an important part of our team is our labor force. We are fortunate to have faithful and talented carpenters and painters with a very low turnover rate.
We are a licensed contractor with the State Board of Contractors in both Mississippi and Alabama. We are members of the Home Builder’s Association of Mississippi where Lance Conn servers on the State Executive Committee and as a regional Vice President.
